With a flamboyant, larger-than-life stage presence and a party hearty/surfer dude persona (not to mention his acrobatic leaps, long mane of blond hair, and skintight spandex outfits), David Lee Roth was an integral part of Van Halen's meteoric rise to global dominance from 1978 through 1984. By 1977, the quartet was signed to Warner Bros, and 1978 saw the release of their landmark self-titled debut, one of rock's all-time great recordings. Mixing heavy metal riffs with punk's fury, Van Halen was onto a whole new sound, which resulted in the band taking the world by storm.   With that said  this is an extremely rare original, one of a kind Diamond David Lee Roth worn, custom made tour stage wardrobe.  This complete wardrobe set was worn by Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Famer Diamond Dave Lee Roth of Van Halen, this particular costume was worn quite a bit on the Sam & Dave tour back in 2002 and on Dave’s solo touring.  There are some signs of ware on the cuffs of the pants from Dave’s continuous use of the them while on tour.  Both the pants and jacket were made by a well known high end fashion designer  by the name of Maggie Barry just for Dave, so you are getting a wardrobe that was specifically made for the man himself.  I have about seven photos of Dave on stage wearing this wardrobe, it was also worn on Dave’s TV appearance, Late Night with Carson Daly.  This item is for die-hard Diamond Dave / Van Halen fans and is also a great chance to own a nice piece of rock history, that will no doubt increase in value and most likely not see again any where else other than behind glass at The Hard Rock Cafe or The Rock N' Roll  Hall Of Fame Museum.  Included for the winner of this item auction, insurance, signature conformation, and tracking number for the item package.  When paid through paypal there is a 2.9% fee (U.S.) or 3.9% fee for the (Canadian) winner of this auction item.  Good Luck, any questions I can answer for you just email me and I will respond within 24hrs.
