Thanks for looking. Description This is a fascinating collection of memorabilia from Woody Herman and His Big Band's 50th Anniversary Tour. Woody and his "Thundering Herd" made an appearance back in 1987 at a local high school, where this collection was obtained in person by my family. I found this LP the other day while cleaning out a closet for my family. As you can see, the collection includes a signed album, a concert program, a personal note from Woody, and even a backstage photo of Woody and fellow band members taken just before the performance. What makes this collection especially interesting is that Woody passed away about 6 months after this concert, so this was likely one of the last performances of his storied career. This particular album was produced by Concord Jazz in 1986. For those of you who are record buffs, this is album number CJ 302. The album has the original inner sleeve, and the LP itself appears to be in excellent condition. I am also offering other vintage LPs, some of which are signed.
