Description
Description This is the first Picnic Program the Art was done by Jim Franklin of Armadillo World HQ Fame, The Concert took place in Dripping Springs Texas on a really hot day. Darrell Royal drove Kristoferson out there the night before. I heard 20,000 people were going to show up but it was twice that. I hadn't even heard of Willie before I won the tickets on KOKE FM,. but damn Leon Russel was going to be there. John Prine and a lot of other artist worth going to see just by themselves.. I had the time of my life even with the heat, over priced beer and smuggled Coors. (Marble Falls was the closest they sold it back then) It had a stigma from being unatainable. Goodness knows we all know better now. Looking back on it I believe it to be the best of the first four. Even with the heat the loss of power. Rare?.... about as rare as hens teeth. A great investment, present and makes a great hanging framed in black.. It is 15 1/4" tall and 11 1/2" wide Only a very few out there.... I ship priority mail which is 4.80 plus a shipping tube 2.80 hence the 8.00 shipping price
