I have been friends with Gunnar Hansen for a long time. One summer night I had the privilege of attending a BBQ with Gunnar. Knowing that he like's good scotch and a good cigar, I brought him some. We spent the night swapping story's and enjoying the cigars and scotch. A few weeks later I received a nice note from Gunnar that read " Thanks for the top notch cigar and good scotch. Do you think this royalty check would be enough to buy us some good scotch and cigars? OK - maybe some cheap cigars and scotch. Gunnar Hansen" Knowing that I was a huge Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan and collector he had sent me his royalty check. So thats the story. Now that I am getting older and I have way to much TCM stuff, I have decided to sell some of it. This royalty check included. So now this piece of horror history can be yours.
