It is the single ONLY original of this poster in EXISTENCE!!!!!! This is the very first one sheet printed with this AMAZING and important artwork! How do I know this? because this poster was originally owned by the famous poster artist John Alvin:   John Alvin is considered THE most important contemporary poster artist. He is responsible for creating some of the most memorable posters of all time such as the Walt Disney classics Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin and The Lion King. John Alvin has also created the classic one sheets for Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Blade Runner, Fritz the Cat, Batman Returns, The E.T. advance one sheet, Phantom of the Paradise, and dozens of other classics including "The Holy Grail" of Star Wars posters - The famous John Williams Concert Poster. His work has been displayed at the Smithsonian and feature stories on his art have appeared in the Los Angles Times and The Daily News.   John Alvin saved the very fist copies of his posters that were printed. This E.T. one sheet was one of them. The studios would provide him the first one sheets printed to approve. This one sheet has one of the three most recognizable movie images ever created right along side the famous Star Wars style A image and the Gone With The Wind 1960s movie poster image. This one sheet was printed BEFORE they added the famous tag line "His Adventure On Earth."
