This poster was originally from the collection of Academy Award special-effects nominee Greg Jein (Close Encounters, 1941), who gave it to me in about 1982.  I am almost positive that Greg himself got it at the 1976 ComicCon in San Diego.  Times are tough, and now I have to part with it.  It is mounted on matteboard.  Three corners are a little bent, and there is a ding along the bottom edge.  On the lower half of the poster, along the right side to about 2-1/2" from the edge, small drops of a dark liquid (coffee in Greg's shop?) are scattered (see photo); they do not detract significantly from the appearance of the poster, since most are in the dark starfield.  Colors are still vivid. This would be a marvelous addition to any Star Wars or Chaykin or science fiction art collection.
