NM! Very cool promo package from 20th Century Fox for the 2001 theatrical release of Planet of the Apes. Includes an long sleeve XL size 'ape shirt' that has the movie logo on the left sleeve and on the zipper pull. Size tag and 20th Century Fox tag logos are attached inside the collar. 100% polyester and manufactured by Colorado Trading & Clothing Co. Shirt has never been worn and is in NM condition. Material is designed to look like ape hair! Also included is a VHS "Fox Forecast" trailer tape featuring 20th Century Fox movie releases for 2001 which is visible in the photo showing the open carton containing the shirt. Tape is unplayed NM. A full color glossy folder containing 21 individual color press releases for the 2001 Fox release slate and a single page typed press message on 20th Century Fox letterhead is included as well. The flip top shipping carton is flat black and has the 20th Century Fox logo printed in silver on the opening flap end. Fed Ex shipping stickers affixed to the top of the box. Outside of the carton is intact with no seam splits. Inside top of carton features the image of the ape used in my main gallery photo. A very cool looking carton. Size of box is 19" x 12" x 3".Overall condition is VG on the outside with minor wear and handling evident. Minor tears at flap ears. Inside of carton and display trays are NM. This is a very cool promotional package that is extremely hard to come by. These were distributed in very limited quantities to the press and to those working in the movie industry and were not sold in stores.
