Personalized card: "Please accept the enclosed item for your auction.  We hope it's a great success, Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman" in raised letterings on a 3 1/2" x 5" on thick paper.  Measurement for the letter opener: 8 inches long, the brass (not sure if it is brass or gold-plated) base is engraved with "J.W. - P.N." and the measurement is: approximately 3 5/8" long, 1" wide and 1/4" thick, weighs about 170 grams, (approximately less than 1/2 pounds).  It will be mailed with its original box in a sturdy box.  Due to its rarity and value, it will be shipped with tracking number and insurance. Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward donated this item to the Deaf organization to support their fundraising event for 100% closed-captioning on TV and Home Video in 1993.    25 years ago!!!
