This professionally-made, high-quality, heavy-duty, colorful costume was custom made for a group that participated in the 1994 Philadelphia Mummer's Parade on New Year's Day.  It was manufactured by Fabri-Cations Custom Costuming of Philadelphia, and is manufactured of quality, heavy duty materials, and is adorned with hundreds and hundreds of sequins, accurately placed and sewn, as well as 'jewels' and other quality, attractive adornments.    It is patterned after many of the famous Mardi Gras suits seen in New Orleans.  The group that wore this outfit had as their theme 'Deep In The Heart of Texas'. The costume is used, has been worn many times for performances, and is in very, very nice condition, despite some noticeable wear in several areas.  There are no tears or damage evident, although there is some soiling here and there.  It was custom fitted and made for a person 5'-8" to 6'-2" tall and weighing 175-215 pounds. The materials are all heavy-duty and workmanship is very intricate and detailed.  The suit consists of all pieces pictured.......hat, shirt, vest, chaps, gauntlets, kerchief and gunbelt.  Weight of the complete outfit is 10 pounds. The chaps and gauntlets are made of white textured heavy vinyl, with black felt.  The hat is heavy felt.  The guns are plastic toy guns, not capable of firing a projectile.
