This professionally-made, high-quality, colorful costume was custom made for a group that participated in the 2004 Philadelphia Mummer's Parade on New Year's Day.  It was manufactured by Del Buono Costumes of Philadelphia, and is manufactured out of quality, heavy duty materials, and is adorned with hundreds and hundreds of sequins, accurately placed and sewn, as well as ostrich feathers and other quality adornments.    It is patterned after many of the famous Mardi Gras suits seen in New Orleans.  The group that wore this outfit had as their theme 'Arabian Nights'. The costume is used, has been worn a number of times for performances, and is in very, very nice condition.  There are no tears or damage evident at all, although there is some minor soiling here and there.  It was custom fitted and made for a person 5'-9" to 6'-2" tall and weighing 180-215 pounds. The materials are all heavy-duty and workmanship is very intricate and detailed.  The suit consists of all pieces pictured.......hat, shirt, overshirt, belt/sash and trousers.  Weight of the complete outfit is 10 pounds.
