Description This  is  a  unique  opportunity for  all  film  makers  or  those  who  want  to make  films. This  is  a  three  year  option  on  an  original screenplay  whose  working  title  is ' Hellshift'.   What's  the  film  about ? If  you  thought  your  local  hospital  was  bad, wait  until  you  get  sent  to  this  one ! And  its  not MRSA  that you  have  to  fear here, it  Satan's  Cohorts ! A  shortage  of  staff  means  that  late  shift  at  Dante's  Hospital  is  being  run  by  agency  staff. Unfortenately  the  Agency  is  in  the  fith  leval  of  hell ! As  the  staff  run riot  and  the  body  count  increases, the  safest  place  to  be  is  in  the  morgue ! And  now  all  that  stands  between  the  forces  of  darkness  and  the  rest  of  the  world  are  a  Dr  about  to  be  struck  off  for  malpractice, a  strip-o-gram  nurse  in  the  wrong  place  at  the  wrong  time, a  girl  who's  just  woken  up  from  a  five  year  coma  and  a  handsome  young  stranger  in  a  long  black  coat  with  a  bag  full  of  crosses ! And  you  thought  you  had  a  bad  day  at  work  today !   Why  is this  film  good for  me ? This  is  a  medium  budget  film. You'll  need  money  because  of  the  larger  cast, mostly  extra's, and  the  special  effects. The  main  cast  is  4  good  guys and  6  bad  guys. The  setting  is  obviously  a  hospital. There  is  lots  of blood  and  guts. and  some  big  set  peices. But  if  you  haven't  the  money  yet, buy  the  script  and  on  that  you  can  raise  the  money. I  know  on  teh  face  of  it  this  film  may  sound  like  it's  in the  ' Shaun  of  the  Dead' style  but  it's  actually  more  like  the  ' Evil Dead' Trilogy  or ' Re-animator', funny  but  more  savage, more  black and  much  more  funny  than  most  of  these  kind  of  films. Also  the  heroic  characters  are  actually  heroic, they  do good  stuff. These people  are sexy, they  are  cool, these are  the  kind  of  characters  you'll  be  rooting  for  by  the  time  the  film  ends. Also, big  sequel  potential  here. So why  don't  you  make  it  then ? Needs  more  money  than  i  have  access  to  at  the  moment. Also  i  am  working  on  another  film, a  film  i've  been  working  on  for  over  five  years  now  and  i  really  think  it's  time  i  got  it  finished. Also  now  is  a  good  time  for  this  type  of  film. So  what  do  i  get  for  my  money ? You  get  the  complete  screenplay. You  get  the  option  to make  this  film  for  three  years  from  when  the  contract  is  signed. What  i  get  is  the  money, obviously, and  i  also  get  the  first  re-write  of  the  screenplay. I know  with  the  credit  crunch  and  everything, money  is  not  flowing  to  all  parts  as  once  was, so  i  have  dropped  the  price  of  the  script  and  will  take  a  small  percentage  of  the  profits. The  exact  percentage  will  be  agreed  by  both  parties  once  the  script  is  perchased. When  you've  read  the  script  and  we've  had  a  chat  about  it, i  get  to  have  a  crack  at  re-writing  it  first  off. After that, you  can  get  anyone  else  in, including  yourself  of  course, to  make  whatever  changes  you  think  it  needs, if  it  needs  any ! My  screen  credit  will  be  as  the  original  screenwriter  whatever  changes  are  made  later.   What is an Option ? An  option  is  the  amount  of  time  you  have  to  get  the  film  started. In this  case  its  three  years. after  that  time  the  rights  to  make  the  film  revert  back  to  me.   Can  i  read  the  script ? Not  until  you've  brought  it  but  i  will  send  sample  pages, about  10  or  15  minutes  worth  of  material, to  anyone  interested  in  the  script. I'll  send  this  in  Word  Format, so  it's  easy  for  anyone  to  read. The  actual  script  is  written  using  Final  Draft  software. I  know  this  may  be  a  leap  of  faith  but  that  is  why  the  cost  of  the  script  is  so  reasonable. Screenwriters  may  not  be  well  regarded  in  the  movie  business  but  they  are  well  paid.   So  what  happens  next ? You're  interested  in  the  script. I  send  you  the  sample  pages. You  love  them ! You  bid  for  the  script. You  win ! Hurrah ! You  send  me  the  money. I  send  you  the  script. We  sign  a  legal  contract. You  make  a  hit movie ! Hurrah ! All  live  happily  ever  after.
