Dating in the 1940's to 1950's timeframe, these came out of an old drive-in movie during a cleaning out of the property. This auction is for your choice of ONE letter or number listed below. At the conclusion of the auction, please let me know your choice and if you would like more than one at the amount of your bid for each. They all measure approx ten inches tall and are bright red in color and made of a thick rubbery-plastic called bevelite. Every other vintage movie marquee letter that I have ever seen was made out of a cheap thin flat plastic. These are not, they are very high quality with alot of depth and character and they all have a raised pebble like finish. They are ten inches tall and the width depends on the letter, an M will be a bit wider than an J but on average they are approx eight inches wide. They all have metal clips on the back which were used to hang on the movie marquee. They are in very nice condition though they are not new. They were used on an outside movie marquee and they are approx 70 years old. Spell out your name or initials!
