The scarce photo and envelope comes from the estate of the person that handled Miss Dietrich’s fan mail request’s for photos of the very popular actress. The address on the envelope states “DIETRICH, 400 NORTH CAMDEN DRIVE, BEVERLY HILLS”. This is no cheap modern copy but is original from the 1940’s with her actual mailing envelope. The 1940’s photo is 8 x 10 inches in size and shows Miss Dietrich in a sultry and sexy pose leaning against a large vase. The original 1940’s photo and envelope are in mint condition and are no doubt very scarce if not rare, especially for the age of the items. The envelope is a little larger then the photo and also includes the original cardboard insert inside the envelope that would protect the photo in the mail.
