My name is Cydney Neil and I created and operated the Rocky Point Haunted House in Utah where it was open from 1979-2007.  I was fortunate over the years to have great friends in the entertainment industry that either gave, sold or made many of the fabulous props I used in my sets.  When I made the decision to close my show and auction off all of my props, there were several items, for one reason or another, I just couldn't part with at the time. Most of them had been very personal to me. Now, given some time, I think I can finally let them go. There are some really wonderful items included in the auction that not only have a lot of sentimental value to me but many items that I guarantee will come complete with their very own entity attached! The unique collection of the late Robert Burns are irreplaceable collectors items that anyone should feel fortunate to own. The mechanics and frame of this huge spider were custom built by my very talented creative team and was one of my all time favorite scares at the haunted house. It was very effective the way it was built to come out, down, scream at and then spit on the customers. The actually foam and fiberglass body of the spider were crafted by the hugely talented Brian Penikas of Los Angeles, who has hundreds of films to his credit, including Batman and Pirates of the Caribbean. It was built and used in the beautiful cave set of the Lord of the Rings trilogy attraction. It is fully mechanical, including two separate movements, forward and downward as well as the program to spit water onto its victims! This prop is one of a kind and would be an amazing addition to any haunted house. It comes fully equipped with all of its mechanical parts and should be ready to hook up immediately to begin scaring people!
