Satchmo: My Life in New Orleans is Armstrong's account of his lifelong love affair with his hometown.  This book is hand-signed by Louis Armstrong: "Satchmo Louis Armstrong" on the half-title page.  This is an original signature, and comes with a letter of authenticity by the eminent autograph verification firm of James Spence Authentication.  This book is in superb condition in the original dustjacket.   The only minor flaw is on the back endpaper, where some paper has stuck onto the endpaper in two small places.  The book is in excellent condition otherwise, astonishing for a 50 + year old book.  The book is signed by Louis Armstrong on the half-title page, perpendicular to the printed text on that page.We are a powerseller with an 100% feedback rating, and we acquired this book from a very established and reliable source with a fine reputation.  We decided to go the extra measure and send the book to the autograph expert James Spence, to prove that this is an absolutely authentic signature.  We could not locate a single other autographed copy of this book available anywhere.  Genuine Armstrong signatures are much more scarce than one might suppose.  And this is one of the greatest Satchmo collectibles imaginable.  It's difficult to imagine a more important piece of Americana than a signed book by the immortal Louis Armstrong on his great American hometown, New Orleans.  cometlord77 Store Place a Bid!
