This is how I aquired the set, and i'm parting with it in the same manner. -- Original First Print Acid Test PROMO Poster for the Sound City Acid Test 45" Record (DJ PROMO) -- There are only 3 of these known to exist. I have one more of them I would be willing to part with seperately if people want to inquire. -- -- The last part of this 3 part package includes a Letter from Jim Seagraves, the owner of Sound City Studios, to Billboard Magazine announcing the release of the Acid Test Record in March of 1966 -- This ONE OF A KIND Letter is Handsigned in BLUE INK by Jim Seagraves. (I cannot stress how important this item is, and I would go so far as to say it belongs in a museum). -- So, the auction includes a total of (3) items, one of which is ONE OF A KIND. The Record is in VG+ shape with minor scuffs and although I have not played it, I would expect it to sound reasonable. The Poster is the ONLY ONE KNOWN TO EXIST!!! (If you go to Vintage concert posters, you can see a similar one. Likely, this was also a promotional poster but it's a little different, and it measures a different size as well. This Poster was made to WRAP AROUND THE RECORD, (FOR DISTRIBUTION TO RADIO STATIONS) Poster measures approx. 14" by 14" and has been folded in 4ths, as i'm sure they all were. No others have survived.
