It took place in September/October and was sandwiched between two visits to North America by the band. The classic album "Who's Next" had just been released in August. It is considered by many to be the band's greatest albums and has also been named one of the best albums of all time. On this tour the band was opening their shows with the one-two punch of "I Can't Explain" and "Substitute". Along with the songs from the new album the band was also performing "Summertime Blues", "Magic Bus", "My Generation" and a small suite from "Tommy".
