It came a month after the band's coming out at Monterey Pop. Although the band was in the middle of recording their landmark concept album, "The Who Sell Out" they had already had a number of hits in the UK. The show opened with "Substitute" and included "Summertime Blues", "Happy Jack", and "Boris The Spider" before concluding with an explosive "My Generation" with Keith Moon smashing his drum set and pushing it off the platform.
