The band was on tour in support of Neil's second solo album, but first with Crazy Horse, "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere". This legendary performance at The Music Hall in Cincinnati was the first performance of the tour and shows the band in very top form. The show opened with "On The Way Home and Buffalo Springfield's "Broken Arrow". But it did rely heavily on the new album with performances of "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere", "Down By The River" and "Cinnamon Girl". "I Am A Child", "Helpless", "Sugar Mountain" and "The Loner" are also exquisitely performed. NOTE: At the time of this show Crazy Horse was led by guitarist Danny Whitten. Whitten died in 1972 of a heroin overdose and was the inspiration behind Neil Young's "The Needle and the Damage Done" and Young's "Tonight's the Night" song and tour of 1973.
