vandervliet2006 Store GENUINE and AUTHENTIC "ERROL FLYNN" PERSONAL OWNED ITEM A magnificent and extremely rare item owned by the great and legendary screen idol Errol Flynn. This outstanding in EXCELLENT condition Sterling silver cigarette case was given to Errol by his idol John Barrymore. THE IDEAL ITEM FOR HOLLYWOOD MEMORABILIA COLLECTORS!! The front of the case (top left corner) is engraved with Errol Flynn's initials "E F" in marvellous scroll effect. Period: early 1940's Inside the cigarette case the word "sterling" is engraved and three hallmarks (G H F). Inscription on the back with the enchanting words for Errol Flynn's well known charismatic character: "FULL OF SOUND AND FURY, JOHN" Clip inside is fine and working, gold finished interior intact. Size: 3.5" x 2.5" (8.9 cm x 6.4cm) Being a fanatic Errol Flynn fan and collector myself it does break my heart to let go of this 'one of a kind and 'hard to find' item, I do hope it will go to another fellow Flynn admirer or collector, who will undoubtedly enjoy this cigarette case as I have for a good number of years. Accompanying three Certificates 1) "Certificate of Autenticity" (on show) dated 10.12.2004, certifying, signed and authorized this item by high profile and very reputable London company specializing in all kinds of high value memorabilia etc. 2) Also a Certificate (on show) from John Barrymore's wife Elaine Barrie Barrymore (Elaine and John were well known movie item collectors) dated 26.11.96 and signed on her own personal stationary stating: "Sterling silver cigarette case engraved "EF" and "Full of sound and fury, John", was given by my husband John to Errol Flynn, who returned it to me after John's death." 3) Furthermore a Certificate ( no room for display!) dated 21.11.96 from a reputable memorabilia collector based in Chevy Chase, MD in America stating: "Sterling silver cigarette case engraved "EF" and "Full of sound and Fury, John" was given by John Barrymore to Errol Flynn and obtained from Elaine Barrymore (John's widow)" Will fax documents to you should you wish me to do that as proof the text on the CoA's are correct.
