What I can tell you and show you is that the signature by Eddie Van Halen is Authentic and was signed adding "Van Halen 06", with a blue permanent felt tip. Eddie signed this particular pick guard outside his hotel in New York City in September 2006. This guitar is Guaranteed Authentic and comes with a Proof Photo and two forms of authenticity documents. My (LOA) Letter of Authenticity, which states the date and place Eddie signed and an (LOA) from PSA DNA.
