It is in excellent, near mint condition, there are absolutely no pin holes or sticky tape marks on it. There is also absolutely no discolouration, no fading or yellowing, which for a poster of it's age is equally rare. It is folded in the usual way movie posters like this were folded. There is absolutely no sign of any wear or tear on the edges from having been folded. The price I am asking reflects it's rarity, particularly in this condition. Almost every time you see the original poster for sale it is the later artwork. I have recently seen  one other like this, but which had a London cinema legend printed along it, advertised for £595. So this one which has no specific cinema mark on it, if you were to buy at it's start price is still a bargain. Film posters like this are becoming ever more collectible, being included now on fine art auction websites, and for a wonderful, multi Oscar winning movie like this what better souvenir than the absolute original poster to own. I have been collecting film posters for over 20 years, and I'm a bit sad to have to selI this, as I was always intending to get it framed and put on my wall, as Doctor Zhivago is one of my all time favourite movies, but I hope you enjoy owning as it as much as I have done.
