These old cards (no longer used) used to be displayed outside cinemas / movie theatres in order to entice people to come in and see the movie. As the UK did not value these in the same way as US did, so these are hard to find, esoecially anything in the 1960s and prior to that - very few sets probably remain. A full set would have eight cards showing scenes from the move as well as an information box / strip giving the movies title and other information. These rare pieces are wonderful to own and display.. Apologies for some slight blur to some images - I'm no photography expert and the pieces are almost certainly much sharper than they appear here when seen in the flesh. .
