This is thus a one of a kind rarity.   We are selling this Rolleiflex camera on eBay at the request of the owner, Dinah's grandson.   He was willed this fine Roelliflex camera by Dinah Shore, his grandmother, when she passed in 1994. He has agreed to send a handwritten dated note of provenance to the buyer once the sale closes establishing absolute authenticity.    This actual camera was bought new by Dinah Shore and George Montgomery when they were first married back in 1943; it still bears an old Dymo label with their name on it. Dinah used this camera the rest of her life.   One roll of color film found inside the camera was aparently fully exposed and rewound but never developed nor removed from the camera. The family considered having the film developed but decided finally to leave it in the camera as found for the new owner as a wonderful extra. What could be on that film, if anything, only the winner will ever know. We all feel that it most likely contains the very last photographs that Dinah ever took with her camera.   We no little about cameras, and do not know if the camera works but considering the condition very well could.
