Description
The original company that produced all the lenses for Interview With The Vampire is now offering all the lenses for auction. All the characters in the movie constantly wore contact lenses. Each character had several pairs for the phase that they were in; ie, normal, killing, eating, etc. We are proud to offer the lenses that Brad Pitt wore every day in phase number one, which was when his character was not provoked, or killing, etc. These hand painted oversized lenses were made to Brad Pitt's specific eye measurements. The lenses are lime green to dark green, blended like an iris to enhance his own eye color. Lenses may look slightly different from the photograph because of the hot lighting on the set. The lenses are not to be worn and are being sold as a collectable. The lenses are not medical or prescription devices. There are no exchanges or refunds. Product is sold as is and without exressed warranty. Sales are processed by Syntac Solutions via Paypal only.  Because of Brad's popularity the bidding will start at $2,000. Check out my other items!   Fun Stuff Trivia Author 'Anne Rice' wrote the original part of Lestat for the novel with Rutger Hauer in mind. The book was published in 1976. By the time a movie was to be filmed, Hauer had become too old to portray the ever-young looking vampire. Upon learning that Tom Cruise had been cast, she was quite disappointed and expressed concern that Cruise could not carry the part. After attending a screening, Rice wrote a letter of apology, quite pleased with Cruise's portrayal. During the cinema montage sequence (depicting the passage of years) towards the last part of the film, where Louis (Brad Pitt) exalts about being able to "see" the sun for the first time in centuries, the clip of a rooster crowing to indicate the coming of dawn is from the silent vampire film Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (1922).
