Printing Process: Our artwork is produced by a meticulous and thorough process ensuring your order is of the very highest quality. We only print from a master file that has been signed off by the artist; this makes sure that each replication has the same image quality of the original.Once we have finalised the master image the full edition can be printed, we use a state of the art giclee process to produce each print. The word giclee (zhee-clay) is French in origin and literally means spray of ink the process involves millions of droplets on ink being sprayed onto the canvas rendering a deep saturation of colour and retaining minute details to accurately reproduce the original image. The ink we use is guaranteed to be fade resistant for up to 75 years under normal conditions (away from direct sunlight). We spare no expense when it comes to our artwork. Each print is printed onto 450gsm canvas which is specifically designed and coated for the giclee printing process and offers the absolute best colour replication and sunlight protection available. We have researched materials for over 2 years and believe our canvases are the very best on the market. Once the print has been completed, thoroughly checked and hand finished a specially formulated giclee veneer is applied to each print. This veneer further deepens and enhances the print quality, gives the print a subtle artistic lustre and provides additional protection from harmful sunlight and scuffing. The finished print is then mounted onto 38mm museum grade fir wood stretcher bars. All of our artwork is mounted and adjusted by hand ensuring our professional quality is maintained. Our prints remain adjustable to tighten up any slackness that may occur in the future. Finally the back of the print is finished with artists tape to further secure the print and to give a neat finish. A final quality check is made and then your artwork is then ready for despatch. Limited Editions: Most people buy art because they love the image; however it is becoming more and more collectable with limited editions becoming highly sought after by art collectors worldwide. Some artists works are changing hands at ever increasing prices which makes the collecting of new artists work affordable and exciting. All artwork presented on iconacult.com are available exclusively from us in strictly limited editions. All of our limited editions are signed in person by the artist or on an accompanying certificate. The signature of the artist authenticates and guarantees the reproduction of the original image and adds value to the artwork (generally signed limited editions attract higher prices than unsigned work). The reverse of your print will feature the handwritten name of the artwork along with a unique number assigned to your print. For example 7/295 would mean that you have the 7th print in a total run of 295 prints. Once the print run is complete the original print files involved are destroyed. All prints are available in the size of the original artwork as standard, please view the size guide on this page. If you would like a particular piece un-mounted (not stretched onto bars) or printed to your size specifications we can do that for you too. Please contact us for a quote. Pricing: Iconacult.com sells directly to you cutting out publication and gallery fees and commissions. The recommended retail price (RRP) shown on this site in an indication of what we have sold similar artwork for in a gallery environment. By selling to you directly we keep our prices as low as possible. We never compromise on the quality of the materials we use to produce your artwork. Caring For Your Artwork: All artwork from iconacult.com is printed using a fine art process; please take care of your artwork by following these steps: Take care when handling your artwork, resting it on hard or rough surfaces may cause scuffing to the print. Once in position try to handle the artwork as little as possible, if you move please make sure your picture is well packaged and protected. Only clean and dust your artwork with a soft lint free cloth, a damp cloth may be used for tougher marks. Try to hang your artwork away from direct sunlight; while every care has been taken with the materials to avoid fading, UV rays are the enemy of any fine art print or painting and they will fade with prolonged exposure to them. If you have any questions please contact us through the Idealartwork Galleries eBay store or directly at info@iconacult.com.
