Description  Hello fellow collectors.  Due to the economy, and the potential S.A.G. strike, I will be listing props and collectibles from my private collection over the next few weeks  .My loss is certainly your gain as many of these items are tough if not impossible to find . Many of these items took me years to obtain, but you can get them with the click of a button..Most of these items I never intended to sell, EVER, but I have to unfortunately :( All these items are considered being sold -from one private collector to another- I have excellent feedback,  and am a reputable guy , so buy with confidence :) I can send additional pictures of items if needed. Please send any additional questions as soon as you can as it might take a few days for me to get to all of them .Here is one of my favorite items, unfortunately up for grabs.........This is a casting of the Mutant head masks made  by John Chambers for Beneath the Planet of the Apes. . It is sourced from original mold castings. I have had this a long time and have no doubt of its authenticity . It is Latex, and simply painted white. There are many little bubbles/pinholes  throughout the casting and evidence of a crack that was was in the original mold that it was cast from. These are common with older plaster molds that have seen much use or are very dry. The casting is smaller that an adult head. It measures 10 inches from bottom of neck to top of head . The latex used seems tougher than mask latex. I am not sure if this material caused the casting to shrink this much once cured or if this head sculpt was meant for the mutant children that lived w the adult mutants in the film. Either way, this is not wearable .  The prop for sale is the white casting only, All other pictures are for reference only !!This casting  is certainly a part of Makeup and Sci Fi history !!Apes makeups are a rare offering, mutant makeups, even more rare !!Go Ape !!!!
