Description
Authentic Hand Written Interview of Bela Lugosi, star of Dracula (1931). This interview among others was done by Irwin Oster In NYC. Irwin pretended that he worked for his school newspaper. He interviewed around 10 or 12 movie stars during WWII, including Bela Lugosi. He prepared the questions in advance & various stars answered His questions with written responses in person. Irwin met Bela Lugosi on a street corner in NYC. Bela considered doing the interview while leaning on a cyclone fence & lighting up a cigarette. Bela was very cordial & friendly. Irwin worked as a page boy for Al Jolson & accumulated one of the greatest movie star collections during the mid-1940's. It is interesting to note that Lugosi was born in 1882, but changed the "2" to the number "8" on the interview. Lugosi signed the reverse. Unique item for Lugosi fans.
