This Limited Edition Boxed Set was put together on the 20th anniversary of issue Number 1. Each issue is in Excellent to Near Mint Condition! The Outer Box has some wear. All Complete 77 issues (each book measures 6" x 8 1/4") are housed in black slipcases.  Each 11 of the 12 slipcases hold 7 issues (Only two boxes were taken out of their slipcases for photos). The 12th box houses a beautiful gold plated frame display of issue number one (also pictured below).  In addition, 3 booklets are included (pictured below, one with Certificate of Limited Edition).  The Beatles Book (also known as Beatles Monthly) was founded in 1963 by publisher Sean O'Mahony. It was first published in August 1963 and continued for 77 editions until it stopped publication after the December 1969 edition.  In early 1963 O’Mahony published a magazine about the music scene called “Beat Instrumental”. On hearing Please Please Me he realised something special was happening and asked Brian Epstein if he could publish a magazine devoted to The Beatles. Epstein and the group agreed and the  Beatles Book Monthly was launched with a print run of 80,000. By the end of the year circulation had grown to 330,000 copies per month . O’Mahony edited the magazine under the name of Johnny Dean.
