 I have secured another lot of  old Programs (Playbills and Stagebills etc.) from old theater/cultural productions.  I will list them for sale on eBay this week. If you are a collector you review the collection in our eBay store.  Click here ---> to visit our store ___________ This is a PROGRAM from  The Mansfield Theatrefrom the week beginning Monday, March 11, 1946John WildbergpresentsHarry Wagstaff Gribble'sProductionANNA LUCASTAby Philip Yordan Setting by Frederick Fox   Costumes by Paul DupontCast in order of appearance includes: Edith Whiteman; Inge Hardison; Georgia Burke; John Proctor; Warren Coleman; Frank Silvera; Monte Hawley; Alvin Childress; Alice Childress; William Dillard; Valerie Black; Lance Taylor; Duke Williams; Charles Swain  Measuring 6 1/2" by 9" this program has a stapled binding and 24 pages/plus a cover.  The cover is printed in a sepia color ink on paper that is bone color and has a semi-gloss finish. The interior pages are the same paper stock and printed in black.   This program/Playbill contains oodles of wonderful old advertisements and info about this production and other goings-on in New York City.  There is also a newspaper clipping tipped in  dated June 27, 1947 about this show closing saying that when it closed in NY it has "shattered all previous long-run records set by Negro shows on Broadway" ... "it had romped off with 956 performances, several lengths ahead of its nearest contender..." It goes on to tell about other all-Black theater productions, giving statistics about their runs.
