1890 Wolff Bros Violin Start Price USD 3,800.00 Current Price USD 3,800.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, July 03, 2008 End Time Tuesday, July 08, 2008 Location Brentwood Bay, BC See more about '1890 Wolff Bros Violin' Description This violin has been in the family for a great deal of time.  It was my grandfathers throughout the war and until his death in the 60's.  My father had played it up until about 4 or 5 years ago then, given to us.  We had listed this before but I know because we had no feedback and lived in BC, it was iffy for people to consider (as we were told from the fellow who purchased our saxophone).  We are listing it again in hopes that someone would like to continue to play this beautiful instrument.  It has a very good sound and definetly has appeal, but if we held onto it, it would never get played and just be put aside.  We were told by an appraiser that he had never seen this insturment with such "sex" appeal and was kept in better shape than other Wolff Bros he had came across.  We never appraised with papers, only verbally a couple of months ago when we had been considering consignments (which we don't want to do).  It needs very little work but has been cared for and kept safe throughout the years.  It does come with the original case which is still in pretty good condition.  Place a Bid!
