Spurred on by his exciting adventures (as well as by thoughts of the lovely Dale Evans and Rogers' faithful palomino horse Trigger) kids would have done anything to be just like the all-American hero. Offered is a spectacular item that may enable those cowboy faithful to get one step closer. This limited edition, double holster set (NM) was likely produced in the 1980s as a replica item marketed to Rogers' still-loyal fan base. The holster is made of leather and is free of any loose seams or tears. Measuring approximately 35" in length, the holster is equipped with a pair of replica BKA 98 pistols with tan-colored grips (no cracks or chips), while 31 bullets occupy the appropriate slots around the gunbelt. Spectacularly exhibited within a custom-made, 45" x 19-1/2" x 4-3/4" display case with a glass door, the holster and matching weapons are carefully affixed to its red-felt backing. The display also features a pair of black-and-white images-one of Rogers in action and the other with Trigger-both surrounded by a leather, western-style frame. A leather plaque in the center of the presentation reads: "The Early Years Series / Roy Rogers / 1938 / 124-500 / Ferrell's Old West."
